I was iffy on this purchase and thought about canceling it but luckily I did not. It arrived today and I was very impressed about the quality of this mug! It’s not cheap in any way. The itched logo is perfect and the rim of the mug has a nice trim to it (like a gloss finish whereas the rest of the mug is matte finish.I am so happy with this purchase! Highly recommend

Nice cup but seams to be a left handed cup. If you are right handed the etching should be on the other side. The etching should face outward, any dribble down the cup from lip will go directly into etching. Plus you buy these to show off your team, the only one to see the logo while holding would be yourself.

Very nice mug (most important: dishwasher safe!). However, it is not 16 oz. 15oz of water fills just below the top rim. The 2 mugs next to the AU mug are truly 16 oz. Will probably keep it, but vendor should change description to 15 oz.

This review is for the RICO INDUSTRIES 16oz matte black bistro mug (Team Name: Cal Berkeley Golden Bears). I received a free taxable sample of this mug to review in my search for a solid coffee mug I could use at home or at tailgates.The mug arrived securely cocooned in tissue paper and a honeycombed cardboard wrap which you can unwrap if keeping the mug for yourself or which you can place directly into a gift bag or box if you plan on gifting the mug.The mug has a 1 1/8″ diameter circular base which expands to a 3 3/4″ outer diameter at the top of the mug. The height of the mug is 4 1/4″ with 1/8″ thick lips and the weight of the mug is a solid 400 grams. There is a curved handle set into the mug that measures 3″ at the attachment points and extends the max width by about 1 5/8″. The construction of the mug is your standard ceramic material to which an exterior matte black glaze and an interior glossy black glaze has been applied. There are no indications on the mug as to whether or not this mug is dishwasher or microwave safe; however, the product details do state that the mug can be safely microwaved and cleaned in the dishwasher.The focal point of this mug is the laser engraved collegiate logo (a script “Cal” in this case) that has crisp cut edges and which reveals the underlying ceramic material. I really like the textured feel of the unsealed ceramic material which provides a good contrast to the precisely thin cut edges. I also like that this is an officially licensed product as per the QR code hologram sticker for the Collegiate Licensing Company on the bottom of the mug. The overall craftmanship is quite good and there are no discernable visual or material flaws.In terms of use, I’ve enjoyed using this mug in the mornings for freshly brewed coffee, as the thicker rounded lips of the mug add to the feel of more hearty drinks. All in all, the RICO INDUSTRIES matte black bistro mug is solidly constructed, and I would recommend this as a great option for you or your friend to show collegiate pride at the next tailgate or at home.

This Rico Industries UCLA mug is of good quality. It appears to be fairly well made and durable. The ceramic feels adequately thick, not too thin. The matte black finish, with white UCLA script logo, looks very nice. Mine arrived with a small cosmetic blemish, or scratch, beneath the logo, that I’m hoping will rub out.It can be used with hot or cold beverages. The 16oz. size is adequate for my needs. I like that it’s an officially licensed product of the NCAA. It’s certainly suitable for gifting. It’s a reasonably good value as priced, an option worthy of consideration. I’m pleased with this mug and I recommend it.

I have a lot of University of Minnesota pride, but I do get tired of the same old maroon and gold items. This coffee cup adds an upscale and classy feel to a branded mug. The etching is really well done and this is an officially licensed product. The logo looks great and very clear cut. I have received tons of compliments on it and there are very few items at the U of M bookstore that compare to this style and quality. Also – the size and shape of this mug is perfect for me! Not too big but not too small. I can fit my hand in the handle as well. I have nothing bad to say about this item! Go Gophers!

Whether you use it for coffee, tea, or cold drinks, this mug is fantastic. The handle is large and easy to hold, and the etched logo is well done. I like the smooth, matte black outer surface of the mug too. It has a nice look and feel. Since the ceramic is pretty thick, it does a good job of maintaining the drink temperature. This is my new favorite mug for coffee, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a mug that has their favorite NCAA team logo.

I really like the unique style and overall quality of this mug! First, it arrived safely, which is always a plus. It comes in a simple cardboard box generously wrapped in paper mesh and plastic. No cracks or scuffs at all.I dig the muted color scheme as well – simple, unique and modern. The handle is fairly broad for its size, so getting a grip on this is no problem at all. The mug itself has a matte finish, so it’s not slick feeling in your hands at all.What’s really unique here is the etched Clemson logo – not just printed but actually etched on the mug. I found myself gleefully caressing it almost subconsciously…nice touch that you don’t see often on mugs!All in all…great gift for the college fan!

This is a large coffee mug. It’s wider a the top and sits taller than our other standard coffee mugs. The mug is glazed smooth and the design is actually etched into the glaze. It’s textured and there is the possibility that it’s not water proof at the site of the design. There is a holographic sticker on the bottom of the mug signifying that this is licensed product. The design is only on one side, so depending upon which hand you hold your mug, the design faces either towards you or away from you. Overall, this is a nice mug and my husband appreciated it as a gift.

This is a very nice quality mug. All Rico products I’ve gotten have been a good quality. I work as a civilian for the AF so I figured this mug was appropriate enough. The surface of the mug is very smooth and the logo looks very sharp. I like that the logo is embossed so that there will definitely not be any deteriorating with normal use.I’m pretty happy with this mug. Look and use are great.

I’ll be honest, I thought the mug was dark green. It’s not, it’s black. That was very evident when it arrived. That does not change the fact that this is a great mug though. The MSU logo is embossed, not painted on, so it’s dishwasher safe and feels like it’ll last a long time. Love this Spartan mug.

A well designed super sturdy coffee cup. The cup handle is very easy to grip and holds every bit of 16 ounces. The Gonzaga Bulldogs are a powerhouse basketball program and this is a great way to show your fandom. The cup is very easy to wash with warm soapy water and dry with a towel. I like the fact that the circumference of this cup is plenty large to clean with your hand. Great value on this coffee cup!

This mug has got some weight to it. The graphics are well done and the Gamecock looks great. The mug does get warm when it’s full of hot coffee, but I drink with one hand and drink it pretty quick, so the handle works for me. It holds 16 ounces and is good for cold drinks as well. If you have a Gamecock in the family, this would make a great gift.

OK lots of mugs out there but there are some special additions that make this one of the best. For this price there are lots of options but this mug has a very smooth flat finish that looks amazing but it also has a glossy edge around the lip that adds to the look. In addition the lettering is raised and textured so very high end feel and look. Recommend.

The design is nice. This mug feels good to hold but has temperature issues. A freshly brewed cup of tea or coffee will make your hand uncomfortably hot. On the plus/minus side it cools. Quickly. It’s similar to the way a glass mug retains heat. A mug warmer would be helpful.
