I was hoping that the blanket was going to be thicker. I bought this for my husband as a gift. He bought me a raschel throw for Christmas one year and I love it, it’s thick and soft, so I was hoping that this would be the same. It is MICRO raschel, which is a little thinner. He is hot natured anyway, so he likes that it is lightweight instead of heavy.

This throw made a perfect Christmas gift! It is so plush and a great size too. The secret to finding a plush blanket or throw is that the description has the word “Raschel” in it. I found that out the hard way on another order. Just the word “plush” is not enough. If you are looking for softness, thickness, and richness, make sure the word “Raschel” is in the description. This throw is a winner!

It’s important to note that this isn’t a heavy blanket. So expect to use it primarily during the fall/spring, and maybe cooler parts of the summer. Overall loved the quality of this blanket. In the few months of ownership it’s endured 3 boys (aged 8 mos to 9), an always cold wife, and a clumsy food spiling husband, and it still looks as good as the day we bought it.
