Ordered this hat as a gift for my son. Overall it seems to be a nice hat, not cheap like some I’ve ordered online. The insignia embroidery is very nice. My only complaint really is that its not the color that is shown. The color shown is a very light khaki which makes the insignia pop but what I got is more of a camel color. Quite a bit darker. If I had bought it for myself I probably would return it but my son isn’t a picky as I am!!

Got this for my father and the thing about this we both dislike is the back side of it where you loosen and tighten the fit of the hat. Would have preferred a velcro stitch on it but this gets the job done for those sunny days doing yard work.

I ‘m a baseball cap fanatic and the New Era 9twenty was my favorite cap. It fit well, looked good and was fairly durable even after hand washing. Judging by the caps I see other guy’s wearing I wasn’t the only one. I recently bought 3 new caps and was surprised to find it’s been changed. The liner in the soft crown that gave the cap structure has been removed and the material seems thinner. It’s been cheapened and is no longer worth the premium price. To top it off New Era has stopped showing photos of the inside of the cap so that you can’t tell the older, quality caps from the cheap new ones. Class act. Why do companies ruin good products? No more 9twenty’s for me.

I bought the same 4 caps and all of them had an insert so that the shape of the cap remained, and the blue cap did not have an insert in the front part, which kept its shape. The seller did not show in the photo that there was no insert inside and thereby misled me, but for me it is important that the cap keeps its shape and in all the photos that I posted it is clearly visible that the blue cap does not hold its shape at all and looks ugly. We ask the seller to provide complete information on their caps and also post a photo of the cap inside on their page.
