I purchased this Atlanta Braves baseball for my son’s birthday. We wrapped it along with Braves tickets for the family this summer. It will be my son’s first MLB game. So, Ozzie, Ronald, Matt… if y’all happen to be looking at these Amazon reviews for some strange reason, can one of you sign this for my kid? Ha!In all seriousness, this baseball was good quality and is going to look great in a display case with an Atlanta Braves players’ signature on it- if we can stalk, I mean track down, one of his favorite players and beg for an auto!Great ball for a Braves fan either way, though! this is a great quality ball that I bought for my son so he could take to a baseball game and to use it to get some autographs. The only downside was the sweet spot on both sides had a stamp on it, which is a great spot for getting autographs with a little elbow grease, and some nail polish remover was able to remove it so he can get a signature in the sweet spot.

I was the announcer/DJ/scorekeeper for my boy’s PG Bronco team. I ended up buying 3 Mets balls for the coaches this year and had all the kids sign them and gave them out at the team party this past weekend. They turned out very cool! So I took my son to a Colorado Rockies game versus the Phillies. His favorite team is the Phillies. He ended up getting a play a ball from one of the players. And I lost it when we were in the restroom! It fell out of my pocket. I was calling for his name and he was ignoring me. (Because what kind of mom makes you leave at the beginning of the eighth inning. It was a school night!) And since I am mom of the year I totally blamed it on him for not answering me. Opps!! When in all reality it was my fault. And some awful person stole that ball when they knew it wasn’t theirs! I cried after he went to sleep and after he cried on the way home. I bought a Rangers and an Orioles one to go with a pair of tickets that I purchased before the season started. Because the season hadn’t started, I didn’t have the tickets themselves yet so I wrote the information on a card and put it in with the baseballs.The recipient then put them both on display. They both look really nice but I’m not 100% sure they’re meant to be played with. They make a nice addition to a baseball-themed gift, though, especially if you want to add something more “tangible” to a pair of tickets.

For the price this baseball is excellent! I would like to buy every teams but don’t have the space. In case you didn’t know, these are not official balls, and these balls are made in China (says on ball in small print). Official balls are made in Costa Rica and much more expensive BUT these are great to decorate the bedroom and to play catch with as they look like an official ball. The feel isn’t bad either! It’s $8 and a no brainer for me!

5 stars: this is a one ball order. The image shows you the sides of what it looks like. Mine feels tough and I bought it for my toddler to draw the family on to give to my dad for his bday. He is a lifetime Dodger fan. This was perfect. It looks good, feels good and would actually be a good ball to purchase for a kid to play with. Or anyone really. I purchased this ball for display purposes. I didn’t expect that for the price it would be a perfect ball, but the stitching above the team logo is shoddy, to say the least. The stitching is pulling through the leather, or facsimile of leather. Of all the places for it to happen. I’ll just use it for playing catch with friends. Not worth displaying. Like the old saying, “you get what you pay for.”
